Terms of Use

1. Your license to use Croppy

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Croppy for personal and commercial design work, based on the plan you choose. Croppy runs inside Figma, so you also need a Figma account and must follow Figma’s terms. Croppy is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Figma, Inc.

2. Free features and trial

• Manual cropping is free to use.
• The free trial includes 10 batch runs, with up to 20 output images per run. Each completed Insert into Figma or ZIP export uses one run. No payment is required for the trial.
• The trial is for evaluating Croppy. Do not reset or work around it. We may change what the free features and trial include in future updates.

3. Croppy Pro plans

• Yearly ($19.99 USD per year) gives you Croppy Pro for one year and renews automatically each year unless you cancel before the renewal date. If you cancel, Pro keeps working until the end of the year you paid for.
• Lifetime ($39.99 USD once) gives you Croppy Pro with no recurring charges, including future updates, for as long as we offer and maintain Croppy.
• Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live. Prices may change, but a change never affects a period you have already paid for. We will tell yearly customers about a price change before their next renewal.

4. License keys

• Your license key arrives by email after purchase.
• Each key can be active on up to 2 devices at a time. To move it, choose “Remove license from this device” in Croppy on the old device.
• A key is for one person. Do not share, sell, or publish it.
• Croppy checks your license with Dodo Payments at most once a day. Pro keeps working offline for up to 7 days after the last successful check.
• If a purchase is refunded or charged back, or a key is disabled for breaking these Terms, Croppy Pro is removed from your devices.

5. Payments

Dodo Payments processes all purchases as the merchant of record. It handles payment, sales tax, receipts, and subscription billing, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase. You can cancel a yearly plan at any time by emailing support@airabuilds.com or through Dodo Payments.

6. Refunds

Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. Email support@airabuilds.com with your order details. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Dodo Payments, and the license key is deactivated. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

7. Your content

Your images, designs, and exports belong to you. Croppy processes them on your computer and we claim no rights to them. You are responsible for having the rights to the images you use, and for using Croppy lawfully.

8. Our intellectual property

Croppy, Aira, the Aira Builds name and logo, and our code, designs, and documentation belong to Aira Builds. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved. Croppy includes open-source components, such as fflate and smartcrop.js, which are covered by their own licenses. Their notices are included in the plugin.

9. What you may not do

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease Croppy
• Reverse engineer or decompile Croppy, except where the law allows it
• Share license keys, or bypass the trial, device limit, or license checks
• Remove or change any proprietary or license notices
• Use Croppy for anything unlawful

10. Features and limits

Croppy works within the memory of the Figma plugin window. Outputs and source renders are limited to 8192 px per side and 40 megapixels. A ZIP export holds up to 5,000 images or 1 GB, and one run can insert up to 500 images. Figma stores inserted images at up to 4096 px per side. Face focus depends on browser support and may not be available on every device.

Croppy depends on Figma, and changes to Figma may affect how it works. Please check your outputs before you rely on them.

11. Updates and changes

We may update Croppy to fix bugs and add, change, or remove features. Updates are delivered through Figma. If we ever stop offering Croppy Pro, we will let active customers know in advance where we reasonably can.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Croppy is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that Croppy will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Aira Builds is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Croppy. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Croppy in the 12 months before the claim.

14. Termination

You can stop using Croppy at any time. We may suspend or end your license if you break these Terms. When that happens, you must stop using Croppy Pro, and you are not entitled to a refund.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use Croppy after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
